RE: Exchange 2003 vpn can recieve but not send
Hello Dan,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that you connect remote client
to Exchange thru VPN, but the client unable to send email to Exchange thru
VPN. If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me
know.
Based on my research, this is mostly a VPN issue. As we know the Outlook
client uses RPC protocol to connect Exchange server. The RPC protocol need
to open many higher TCP ports. Please check the VPN connection, ensure it
allow all traffic between remote client and Exchange server.
Meanwhile, the RPC over HTTP is better choice for you to connect remote
Outlook client to Exchange server.
