Exchange 2007 SP1 and ActiveSync Problems
I have set up an Exchange 2007 server (on a Win 2003 X64) and have moved a
couple of accounts to it. OWA works great but I can't get any phones running
Mobile 5.0 to sync via ActiveSync...
I get support Code 0x85010004 (Your account in Microsoft Exchange Server
does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings...) after
the synchronization fails.
Here are some steps I have tried to fix the problem:
I have installed the certificate created by Exchange on the phones (into the
Root Certificates) - noluck...
I have created another self signed certificate and have applied it to the
Default site, then have installed the root certificate - nada
I have deleted both the OWA and the Mcrosoft-Server-ActiveSync virtual
directories and recreated them using the shell commands... did not work
either (I am incredibly frustrated at this point).
Please let me know what other steps can be taken to fix this and/or how I
can get to the cause of the problem... Thanks in advance.
