Sharing GAL between trusted domains
Hello all,

We have a partner company here that we share a two way trust with. Both
companies use Exchange 2003. Users can authenticate in both domains and
access resources in both domains. I've been tasked to share the addressbook
between the two domains but im unable to find a simple way to do this even
with the trust.

I know of IIFP but we run standard edition on one of the servers so that is
not an option for us. Quest is also outside of the budget which is
practically nil.

Is there an simple way to do this im overlooking?

Hey Andy,

if it is a one time question, that using LDIFDE you can export from
one domain and import into the other domain. For repeated up-to-date
data this is quite ineffective though. For a cost effective solution
for synchronizing that does not require any additional server /
database licenses, please have a look at our GAL synchronization
services at http://www.visioningpro.com. We also support you
concerning deployment and configuration.

Regards
Marcel
