Can't sync OneNote on non-Exchange-connected client
Hi,

I have problems synchronizing a MDA (Windows Mobile v6) to Exchange and to
local machines:

- The Exchange server is on the first LAN together with the first client.
Both are in the same Active Directory structure. The Exchange server is not
reachable from outside.

-> I can sync the device on the first client machine, including Outlook and
OneNote Mobile.

- A second LAN has no connection to either the Exchange server or the Domain
of the first LAN but uses a different Domain and no Exchange server.

-> I can synchronize the device to a local Outlook and transfer e.g.
Contacts, but OneNote refuses to sync. Message: "Attention required", no
further explanation. I have tried more than one client.

All clients are running ActiveSync v4.5, Outlook v2003 and OneNote v2007.
The error seems to be a common one, just do a search for "activesync onenote
attention required" on Google.

How can I get the MDA to sync with OneNote on the second LAN?
