Replication Error 1129
Hello,

I have a single Exchange 2003 SP2 Standard server. I recently migrated from
an Exchange 2000 server. In my Application event viewer, I see the following
message every 5 minutes.

Event ID 3092 / Error 1129 occured while processing a replication event.
Folder OFFLINE ADDRESS BOOK /cn=Default Offline Address List\OAB Version2

I read KB93600 but that relates to Exchange 2007. How do I resolve this
error? Is it safe to delete this
folder? Will the system automatically re-create it? I only have Outlook 2003
clients which I know uses OAB Version 4.

Thanks,
Scallica

Re: Replication Error 1129
Have a look on these steps:

Please always keep a copy of all database files, checkpoint files and log
files
before you start with the following steps to repair the .edb files. I
recommend
that you maintain a copy of your original database until you have determined
that
this recovery process has worked correctly.

1.Back up your current databases.
2.Run "cmd" and then go to c:\program files\exchsrvr\bin
3.Use the eseutil /mh "c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\pub1.edb" command
to
determine whether the databases are consistent
4.Run eseutil /p "c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\pub1.edb" to repair it.
5.Run eseutil /d "c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\pub1.edb" to defragment.
6.After the repair completes, please run eseutil /mh "c:\program
files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\pub1.edb to ensure that it is in a Consistent state.
7. Run isinteg –S <Server Name> –fix –test alltests and enter y to continue.

Hope to help

I ran the isinteg utility which found a few errors and corrected them all.
The replication error still appears every 5 minutes. I am reluctant to run
the eseutil command because the database is otherwise working properly.

Can I safely delete the OAB Version 2 folder? Will the system recreate it?

Thanks.

Re: Replication Error 1129
Dear Scallica,

I am sorry for the delay, first of all tell me you move public folders from
an old exchange to a new one?

Second if you do something like this you make the correct steps?

Third if you miss one step in the transferring that’s why you have this
error, because the OAB not transferring correctly.

Please let me know if the previews thinks are truth.

Regards

Anna

Re: Replication Error 1129
The issue has been resolved. I added a replica to another server then
removed the replica. The warning message no longer appears. Thanks!
