OWA premium gone to lite
I haven't seen this issue before, but this is what happened.

A user told me he couldn't use the new features of OWA from SP1 because he
didn't see everything when logging into OWA. So I go look and sure enough,
it looks like it's OWA Light, but he's using IE7. So I tell him I'd have to
recreate his account, he said fine. I recreated his Exchange 2007 account
and logged in as him on OWA, and everything looked like it was correct,
meaning, he had all the premium features.

So today he sends me an email and says that for some reason, the layout is
again the same as OWA light. I log on as him, on IE7, and sure enough, he's
right. It's reverted back to the light version of OWA. Is there a setting
somewhere that needs to be changed so that this user can use the premium
features? Do I have to recreate his account again, but then perhaps have it
revert later on again?

This is pretty annoying if it's going to happen to more people.

Thanks

Ernesto

The only thing I can think of that would cause this is if he's changed his
IE's User Agent string in the registry. Some people do.

But this is happening on several different computers, and we do not having
roaming profiles enabled.
It even happens on my computer, where he's never logged on to. Or is this a
registry setting on the
Exchange box?

Thanks

Well, there is segmentation:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833340
but I'm sure you'd be aware of having done this.

Re: OWA premium gone to lite
Correct, I haven't even touched that.

The users problem isn't computer specific either. It happens on every
workstation. Even on mine, and when I log onto OWA, I get the full features
that OWA offers.

Re: OWA premium gone to lite
Just tried it, and nothing.
It's really an odd problem. All other users have no problems, just this
recent one and someone else when I first installed Exchange.
And even then, no one knew where to look.
