Exchange GroupWise Interconnectivity
I have an Exchange 2003 organization. A few years ago we migrated from
GroupWise 5.x to Exchange 2000. When Exchange 2003 was released I did an in
place upgrade to that platform. We have recently upgraded our Novell
network to the latest OS version (on a LINUX platform) and now when I go to
log into the Exchange server it looks for the Novell network (for a long,
long time), cannot find the context necessary, times out and asks if I want
to choose a different context. I'll tell it no then I can log the rest of
the way into the server. I recently rebooted the Exchange server and when I
did I unchecked the protocol boxes for NWLINK and the IPX/SPX protocols in
the properties of the NIC so the server would no longer use them. Trouble
is, the Stores would not mount any more and the Novell server was brought
down. When I rechecked the Novell protocols to be used again I was able to
mount the Stores and the Novell server would again come up.

Could someone point me in the right direction on where the whitepapers
are that has the procedure I can follow to safely uninstall the Calendar
Connector and the Novell GroupWise Connector? I don't need the IPX/SPX to
run on the Exchange server anymore (haven't for a long time actually) but so
far my research hasn't come up with anything and I would like to clean it up
now.

                    Thanks for any Reply -
                          Jon

Re: Exchange GroupWise Interconnectivity
Goto Add/Remove programs, select Exchange, and remove the Groupwise
connector......

It should only remove the compnents you choose to modify but backup your
server first just in case :o)
