Hi, What ports do I need to open on the firewall on my exchange server to allow my outlook clients to connect? We have a LAN with our Exchange Server acting as Domain controller. We are running outlook 2007 and Exchange 2003. When I enable the firewall on the Exchange server our Outlook Clients can't connect. Thanks
Why are you enabling a firewall on your Exchange Server and for that matter your DC? Place a Firewall at the perimeter of your network and open the necessary ports for Exchange, typically 25 and 443. -- John Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2008 Microsoft Certified Partner "Aidan" wrote in message news:ed3VjrZYIHA.5980@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Hi, > > What ports do I need to open on the firewall on my exchange server to > allow my outlook clients to connect? > > We have a LAN with our Exchange Server acting as Domain controller.
