Password problem in OWA
I have installed Exchange 2007,

When I access my mail box through OWA, & try to change the password through
the options, whatever I put the password it says the security requirements
does not meet.
The user is able to change the password when he logs on to a machine.

There is no tick for "Pasword newer expires" in account properties.
The GPO settings is also okay.

Re: Password problem in OWA
Sarang,
Is the require complex passwords GPO setting turned on?
It sound like it is. I *think* those requirements are:

Passwords must be at least 8 characters
Must consist of 3 of the following 4 characteristics:
-Have at least 1 upper case letter
-Have at least 1 lower case letter
    -Have at least 1 numeric
-Have at least 1 special character
And finally it can not contain any part of the login name or UID.

Don't quote me on those, that's off the top of my head....
That is one thing I have a small complaint about OWA, the error messages for
password are virtually useless, says the same generic thing for any problem.
Not very helpful.

Good luck,
Don
