I just installed a 2007 box with and the automatic bridgehead connector was setup with my existing 2003 server. I can send email from the 2007 box to the 2003 box and also out to external addresses through the 2003 box but any inbound mail, including from the 2003 box itself, to the 2007 server just sits in the queue and eventually times out. We use a smtp smarthost on our internet email connector. Any help would be appreciated. Dave

It's on my Internet mail Smtp Connector under the First Routing Group. Hi, Sounds as if you have a problem with the routing group connector. You should see events in the application log explaining what the problem is. If you don't you could try to remove and recreate this routing group connector: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997292.aspx Leif "Dave Shoup" skrev i meddelelsen news:667ECE87-5537-4F15-AA68-3BC9D124FC77@microsoft.com... >I just installed a 2007 box with and the automatic bridgehead connector was > setup with my existing 2003 server. I found the issue. I had the smarthost under the default virtual server as well as the connector( missed it on the advanced tab when I had looked before). Thank you for all the help. Yeah, whenever traffic just hangs up between boxes it's 99.9% of the time down to a config error just like you had.
