Re: Windows 2008 Firewall configuration for SCR
I can get to a share on the SCR target from source, since the SCR target is
also the CCR share witness machine... ( in the lab infrastructure, in prod,
it would be a server in another site )....
The only IP conflict I can see is the IPV6 Teredo Tunneling
Pseudo-Interface...
I'm in the process of building a similar system in production environement
and have the same problem with the Teredo interface.
I have changed the regkey :
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledCompontents"
to 8, rebooted, but still the same problem...
Please help...
Thanks !!!

Re: Windows 2008 Firewall configuration for SCR
I disabled the interface everywhere in device manager, so no more conflicts,
but still the same seeding problem...

Re: Windows 2008 Firewall configuration for SCR
Have you disabled Windows Firewall on SCR source & target servers?

Re: Windows 2008 Firewall configuration for SCR
Nope... it is running... and I would rather find a way to do it with the
firewall running...
But I will test it... to see if that works, without the firewall...
Thanks !!!

Re: Windows 2008 Firewall configuration for SCR
Ok, with the Windows Firewall service disabled on all 3 servers ( 2 CCR
nodes & SCR Server ), I was able to seed...
That confirms the firewall issue, but just can't figure out exactly what I
need to do... I have tried as suggested with Scott, but must have messed
up...
Would appreciate a step by step document from MS or someone here or a screen
shot of the rules...
Thanks very much !!!
