Can't see shared resources on one clustered node
Hi,

We're running EX2007 SP1 with SCR, the clustered group consists of 2 mailbox
servers and the failover has been working fine for the last 3 months or so
since the installation. Today, I restarted the passive node and since then
I'm not able to see all shared disk drives? I know in the past, the drive
letters would show up in "My Computer" although I would get an error about
drive not available when I double-click on them. Now I don't even see the
letters. When I go to disk management, they're showing not ready.

Checked the event viewers and I'm getting some disconnect messages from the
HBA's. However, I seem to have these error logs in the past especially when
I had to reboot the 2 nodes during EX2007 SP1 upgrade. Last month, I
upgraded the EX2007 to SP1 so I had to reboot all servers and I was able to
failover between active and passive node, although I didn't confirm if I was
able to see all "drive letters" in "My Computer". I just went to Cluster
MMC and flipped the resources.

Is this a bad thing if I try to failover while I don't see the drive letters
from the passive node? I mean the whole EX is sort of working as is. I'm
afraid if failover fails and the active node somehow loses connectivity to
the HBA's, then I'll be in big trouble!

Our SAN admin confirmed all connections are working fine and no errors
reported from the SAN in regards to the LUN's attached to the EX clusters.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
