We are getting the following error when we try to change a exchange mailbox property on any of our mailboxes through either exchange console or powershell. Access to the address list service on server [clusterName] was denied. We are using Exchange 2007 SP1 CCR. We think the problem stems from the amount of address books we have (We have hundreds of address books). We can get around the problem by editing the mailbox properties directly using adsiedit. I have checked the membership of "Exchange Servers" group and all our exchange servers are members, including the clusters. Has anyone seen this problem before? Thanks, Trejay
Trejay, What does event log has to say? If you dont get any error in the event log try bouncing up diagnostic logging on the clustered server. Also check if exchdump lists any incorrect permissions on the server object and off course the Address list where the problem user has the membership. -- Milind Naphade Messaging Administrator "Trejay Rathore" wrote: > We are getting the following error when we try to change a exchange mailbox > property on any of our mailboxes through either exchange console or > powershell. > > Access to the address list service on server [clusterName] was denied. > > We are using Exchange 2007 SP1 CCR. > We think the problem stems from the amount of address books we have (We have > hundreds of address books). > > We can get around the problem by editing the mailbox properties directly > using adsiedit. > > I have checked the membership of "Exchange Servers" group and all our > exchange servers are members, including the clusters. > > Has anyone seen this problem before? > > Thanks, > Trejay >
