Documention on multiple SCC nodes
Hi,

I need to investigate a 5 node (4A/1P) SCC solution, I can't find any
documentaion on how to install SCC into multi node solutions.

I am assuming, the LUNS are presented to the 5 nodes, then all added the
cluster 1 by 1, then install EX2007 active nodes on 4 and then passive on 1??

Thanks!

Re: Documention on multiple SCC nodes
You didn't say what OS, or I would have included a more specific link. But
SCC documentation can be found at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125217(EXCHG.80).aspx.

Hope this helps.

w2k3, e2k7 sp1.

I've read all the scc stuff and there isn't any info on how multiple nodes
should be set up for scc, happy to proved wrong though!

Re: Documention on multiple SCC nodes
For that OS, see
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124899(EXCHG.80).aspx. At the
bottom of that page it discusses installing multiple CMS' in the same
cluster.

There's not too much more to know when adding a second or subsequent CMS in
an SCC. Of course, keep in mind that the first CMS is still special; it has
some legacy code attached to it. Thus, the first CMS you add must also be
the last CMS you remove if you ever need to remove CMS'.

Hope this helps.
