Hello, A while back I installed a 2 node mailbox cluster in Exchange server 2007. At that time I had problems when I tried to create the cluster in Exchange, after having created the Windows cluster. Since then I uninstalled the roles in Exchange and created a new clustered mailbox server with a new name. However, I am seeing a reminder that the original, failed, Exchange mailbox cluster is unlicensed and have 21 days left to fix it. Is it safe to ignore this error, or do I require to take some other action? To all other intents and purposes the cluster is operating normally. Thanks.
I presume the failed cluster that no longer exists is still shown in the EMC? Oliver
Unfortunately I am no longer on site with the client, therefore I have asked them to check what you mentioned and also if there are references to the other virtual server in adsi.edit. I will let you know asap their comments, and thanks for the response! "Oliver Moazzezi [MVP]" wrote: > I presume the failed cluster that no longer exists is still shown in the > EMC? > > Oliver > > >
Okay, the server is still shown under server configuration. It is at this time marked as "Provisioned." There appear to be no references to it in Adsiedit. Thanks.
