Hello. We currentlly have a user who is setup with teh following Exchange 2007 Enterprise Windows 2003 Enterprise Exchange is setup with Hub/ClientAccess/Mailboxes. There are two questions 1. If we do a CCR cluster and want to use the current server as a cluster, do we have to replicate all data to another server (a 3rd server), then create the cluster with two servers, then replicate mailboxes back. Or can we add teh cluster onto this server, and then just add the member? 2. Can the cluster be used for the 3 different types hub/clientaccess/mailboxes. Please let me know. Thank You.
- Existing Exchange servers cannot be added to a cluster - replicate stuff to another mailbox, remove Exchange (recommend reimaging/rebuilding OS), create cluster and CMS (clustered mailbox server), move stuff back. - Clustered Mailbox Server role does not co-exist with any other server role. You need to install cas & hub on another server(s). -- Bharat Suneja MVP - Exchange www.zenprise.com NEW blog location: exchangepedia.com/blog ---------------------------------------------- "eric Wood" wrote in message news:19138196-5CA8-430E-B6E3-5455C4B50A34@microsoft.com... > Hello. > > We currentlly have a user who is setup with teh following > > Exchange 2007 Enterprise > Windows 2003 Enterprise > Exchange is setup with Hub/ClientAccess/Mailboxes. > > > There are two questions > 1.
