When failing the Exchange Virtual Server over to the node on which I installed Exchange 2007 as the passive node, I receive the following errors in the application log. However, failing back to the first node (the node where Exchange was first installed) works quickly and without error. Here are the errors encountered when failing over to the passive node: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchange ADAccess Event Category: General Event ID: 2501 Description: Process MSEXCHANGEADTOPOLOGY (PID=4616). The site monitor API was unable to verify the site name for this Exchange computer - Call=ExchangeGetComputerNameExW Error code=80070002. Make sure that Exchange server is correctly registered on the DNS server. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchange ADAccess Event Category: General Event ID: 2604 Description: Process MSEXCHANGEADTOPOLOGY (PID=4616). When updating security for a remote procedure call (RPC) access for the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service, Exchange could not retrieve the security descriptor for Exchange server object - Error code=80070002. The Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service will continue starting with limited permissions. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few items later comes the error: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchange TransportL Event Category: General Event ID: 7005 Description: Microsoft Exchange couldn't read the configuration from the Active Directory directory service because of error: Failed to load config due to exception: Microsoft.Exchange.Common.ExClusTransientException: The Windows Cluster Service encountered an error during function OpenCluster:. --> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Does anyone have any idea why I am receiving these errors?
