cannot failover 1034 error
major problems. 2 node cluster active/passive but now cannot fail over to
passive. it fails back to primary right away

error is

Event Type: Error
Event Source: ClusSvc
Event Category: Physical Disk Resource
Event ID: 1034
Date: 11/21/2007
Time: 11:15:06 PM
User: N/A
Computer: node2
Description:
The disk associated with cluster disk resource 'Disk Q:' could not be found.
The expected signature of the disk was 9BF30334. If the disk was removed
from the server cluster, the resource should be deleted. If the disk was
replaced, the resource must be deleted and created again in order to bring
the disk online. If the disk has not been removed or replaced, it may be
inaccessible at this time because it is reserved by another server cluster
node.

Re: cannot failover 1034 error
This probably isn't a disk signature issue (unless you have been messing
around, however I would then expect it to not work on the other node
either).

Check that the disk Q (this your Quorum?) has not been depresented to the
node that cannot see it. Oh, I actually see it's saying this for other
drives also, so check that the disks are still presented to the server.

Re: cannot failover 1034 error
I agree, you might consider disabling cluster service and clusdisk driver on
the node and rebooting to verify that the host has connectivity to the
storage.
