RE: SCC installation problem - network resource
The problem was finally solved. I noticed that on both nodes of the cluster,
in the System log in Event Viewer, there were messages from the Cluster
Service I had overlooked. The gist of the message was that the Cluster
Service account I had created (as a domain account, local admins on each
node) didn´t have permission to join computers to the domain (a strange one,
I guess the Exchange cluster is adding a computer object to the domain, so at
to appear so to the clients) and it installed without any fuss. To clear the
previous failed installation I ran setup.exe, deselected the roles I had
installed, cleared the Exchange info under the System node of the registry
and deleted the remaining cluster resources created by Exchange setup.
