The IsAlive check for this resource failed   

Hi,

After I installed the sytem attendance resource in a cluster exchange 2003 
and Windows 2003

This error is displayed: "Exchange SMTP Server Instance(SVREX0): The IsAlive 
check for this resource failed. "

I went to kb, found nothing.
If anyone has seen this problems, I will appreciated your help.

Have you restricted access to the SMTP virtual server?
The isAlive check for SMTP is a telnet session on port 25 to check that we 
get the SMTP banner.
If you do not allow Exchange's IP to connect then the IsAlive check will 
fail.
