Hello chaps, We recently clustered our Exchange and it was all going very well until we suddenly experienced a huge delay in external mail delivery - basically, the frontend is receiving mail in a timely fashion but is then holding onto it for up to an hour before routing it to the backend (and then onto our users). I appreciate that this a fairly vague problem which probably has loads of potential diagnoses, but if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction in terms of basic troubleshooting then it would be very, very much appreciated.
check the conection between FE and GC...are the messagens taking too long in the categorizer? Forgive me David - how would I go about "checking" the connection? And how do I analyse what's occurring within the categoriser? In the message tracking center check the message events, the last should be the delivery. Pleas decribe your environment hardware more specifically and your domain structure as well KP Twazzler wrote: > Hello chaps, > > We recently clustered our Exchange and it was all going very well until we > suddenly experienced a huge delay in external mail delivery - basically, the > frontend is receiving mail in a timely fashion but is then holding onto it > for up to an hour before routing it to the backend (and then onto our users). > > I appreciate that this a fairly vague problem which probably has loads of > potential diagnoses, but if someone could give me a nudge in the right > direction in terms of basic troubleshooting then it would be very, very much > appreciated. >
