Convert E2K3 Active-Active to Active-Active-Passive
Hi there,

We currently have a two node Active-Active Exchange 2003 cluster, and we've
since realized that AA is not the way we want to continue working.

As such, we'd like to add a node to the cluster, so that there is a passive
node (Active-Active-Passive).

I could not find any documentation from Microsoft or others for this
specific situation.

Am I correct in thinking that all we need to do is add a node to the
cluster, and since we allready have 2 ESVs, the problem is solved.

Is there anything I a missing? Has anyone performed this change?

Cheers!

Yes, and it works the way you described.

It is easy. Install the new node into the cluster, install the Exchange
binaries on it, and then test it.
