Active/Active backend server
Hi all,
I have configured a exchange cluster on backend servers and I want
it to be active/active. So what I did was that added two physical disk
as resource disk and created two virtual servers in two nodes
seperately. Then only i could create two virtual servers. But I only
have one exchange virtual server in the frontend and in the cluster
manager i see two instances of default virtual server has been created
(not on same node but one each). So will this lead to inconsistancies
in the data?? Is this ok? Please let me know is there any other way to
do this? Also if u know how to do active/active configuration anyother
way please tell me. Thanks in advance.

cheers,
Dilan

Re: Active/Active backend server
I just figured it out that resources like smtp, imap and etc can be
shared among active/active cluster nodes. can you please tell me how
this can be done??

Re: Active/Active backend server
Shared? Each EVS will be in it's own group. Each group can have it's own
SMTP and IMAP resources. What are you trying to do.

Cheers,

Rod
