We are running Exchange 2007 SP1 Update Rollup 2. We have over 6000 users, and one recently started having a problem where all incoming email goes to her inbox, and then immediately to deleted items like a rule is running, but she has no rules. She uses Entourage 2008 as a client, but we have had her close all connections and it still occurs within OWA. We have tried moving her mailbox to a different database to disconnect all sessions and only use OWA, but it comes back. We have tried mfcmapi to delete corrupted, hidden or stale mailbox rules sitting in her inbox. We have tried launching outlook.exe /cleanrules There are no server transport rules present in our environment. I can even setup a rule on her mailbox that moves all incoming messages to her inbox and it still goes to deleted items. Any ideas??? I'm going to probably call PSS soon.
I sometimes wish my mail would do that. Check for mailbox policies on the server, rules on the server and client, connection/download method on client.
