Outlook 2007 redirect rule - after 5pm & before 8am
I want to create a rule that only redirects from a group of people
(OK) to my private email account (OK) but only after 5pm server time
and before 8 am server time (problem).

I do not want to go and turn the rule on and off every morning and
afternoon/weekend.
I would like the rule to start redirecting mail based on this rule
after 5pm monday to friday, turning it off each morning at 8am.
Also turn it on friday 5pm until 8am monday.

Any ideas?

Thx.

Daniel.

This is not possible on the Exchange server - a forward/alternate delivery
setting is either on, or it's off. I don't know that it's possible in
Outlook...you'd certainly need autoforward to the internet enabled in
Exchange (which is not enabled by default, for good reasons) but you might
try posting in microsoft.public.outlook for help with Outlook rules. I'm
fairly sure you'd need to leave Outlook running/open all the time to make
this work.

Why not just check your company email via OWA or other means when you're out
of the office?

Hi, it does work server side. I told Outlook 2007 to make this rule
and it works.
I get my mails redirected to my iphone, no issues.
Problem is that it happens when i am at the office and its annoying.

Thanks.

Even when Outlook is closed & you're logged out? OK, interesting.

I guess you could just disable/untick the rule while you're at your desk in
the office.

Note - you can configure your iphone to connect directly to your Exchange
server using IMAP - or wait til the end of June, when the apple v 2.0
firmware upgrade is available (it allegedly supports push mail)
