Message resent 5 months later
Greetings,

Have a strange problem.

Environment: Exchange 2003, Outlook 2003 (cached mode), Mcaffee Anti-
virus

Outlook Plugins: Hummingbird, MessageOne (those are the only plugins
i can think of off hand)

Have user who sent a message on 12/6/2007 at 3:59pm. The email was
delivered
with no problem. On 5/6/2007 at 11:59pm the email was resent, and the
user claims to
know nothing about it. I'm clueless as to what could cause this and
thought i'd post here to see if
anyone else has run into this problem.

Thanks,

K

Was the SMTP service on the Exch Server restarted?

Re: Message resent 5 months later
Andy,

Yes it was restarted. However, that restart occurred 2 days earlier.
Also, we have approx 30 servers
which get rebooted weekly. The email was a confirmed delivery back
when it was originally sent.

Thanks,
K
