We've recently upgraded our users from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003, SP 3, running against Exchange 2003 SP2 (single org, single site) . Some users who log onto multiple workstations have reported receiving duplicate or triplicate Calendar/Contacts/Drafts/Journal/Junk E-mail/ Notes/Sync Issues/Tasks folders, but only one Inbox/Deleted Items/Sent Items. MS Support says this is a database corruption issue and the remedy is to run isinteg on all DB. We have five SG with ten DB across three Exchange mailbox servers. Has anyone experienced something similar?
I am experiencing the same problem. Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2007 client. Have you found a solution yet? I'm still looking for one. I'm having this same problem of duplicate mail folders. This problem occured after migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. The good part is that it only occured on 2 mailboxes (on 250 mailboxes total). I removed the duplicate folders manually. I suspect that this problem occured after moving the mailbox from 2003 -> 2007 -> 2003 -> 2007. (I did some moves to test performance). During these moves, I got a "duplicate mailbox" error several times, as described in this article: http://www.itexperience.net/2008/06/14/duplicate-mailbox-was-found-error-code-1056749241/ I haven''t run the ISINTEG command yet, but hopefully there's someone who can confirm that running ISINTEG is the solution :)
