2000 client crashes opening window
in Exchange 2007 SP1, 2 different XP client computers crash on the same
mailbox; maybe this a mailbox problem. Outlook opens, viewer pane opens; but
double-click to open a message, or New / Message to open a new message
window, I get the Outlook Problem, Please tell Microsoft window on appname
outlook.exe, ModName outllib.dll, and Outlook closes. I can start Outlook
with the /safe:4 switch and then Outlook behaves. Doc says safe:4 leaves off
outcmd.dat and *.fav, but I don't find any of those on the client computer.
I'm not sure - is this Outlook client, or mailbox? And what will fix it?

Can you open the mailbox in OWA? Outlook 2003/2007? I don't know whether
OL2000 is compatible with E2007, but it is ancient stuff at this point and
should be upgraded.

Re: 2000 client crashes opening window
We're finally ordering the Office upgrade. I'll try OWA meanwhile, or
install my retail 07 to demo. She is one of the busier, more adventurous
users, I'll try to find if she's just exceeded 00's compatibility limits.
Thanks
