Here is the message a client receives after a broadcast email is sent to all users in our domain: Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. Subject: FW: TEST Sent: 4/10/2008 9:18 AM The following recipient(s) could not be reached: UserName on 4/10/2008 9:18 AM The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address. <ServerName.Domain #5.1.1> Now, the user listed as "UserName" was terminated a few months ago. her supervisor is receiving the above message any time an email is sent to everyone listed in the address book. The UserName account no longer has an email account and her active Directory account has been disabled. Questions: 1. Why is the supervisor receiving the ndr? Why not the sender? 2. Why is an ndr being sent anyway? There is no UserName email account! 3. How do I fix this annoying message?

Setup a recipient filter to filter out mail messages for people not listed in Active Directory http://www.amset.info/exchange/filter-unknown.asp
This user is still in Active Directory. We want to keep all users in Active Directory because many times they come back. I read one article that said it had to do with a deleted user account which had been delegated privileges by the user receiving the ndr. I was not able to run the fix because I could not find the program on my Exchange disk they had referred to. Any more suggestions? I really appreciate the effort!
