Hi, I need a workaround for this problem. Basically when my bosses email is on "redirect" to his other companies email address, the CCs and BC are stripped so he cannot use "reply to all" or see was included in the email. He uses the "forward" rule he can see all recipients in the message body but he doesn't want the "from" to be his own name! Any help on this would be great! thanks in advance. steve.
Instead of the forward rule , use the Redirect rule. It should maintain at least the from. I'm not sure about the other recipient info, but its worth a test. Another option, but not user friendly is to set the alternate recipient in Exchange itself. That should maintain everything, but obviously you would have to be an Exchange admin to do it. hi, I have fixed the problem! I added a server rule on my exchange 2007. The rule indicated that when a recipient is sent an email then another email is copied in (this address being my bosses other companies address) and the system works perfectly! He can see all CC's thanks again steve. "Stevie V" wrote in message news:%23GdmfLYmIHA.5956@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > but I might be able to do this on the server rules???
