One of the user's on a 35 User network with Exchange gets disconnected from exchange and eventually outlook (SP3) will hang when searching on a mailbox. The mailbox is an additional one attached through the advanced options in outlook. When I add a new profile it will still disconnect on search and eventually will reconnect. Overtime the application will hang again. Usually nothing in the event viewer except the application hang message.

My client is using Outlook 2003 (SP3) and is connecting to an Entourage 2004 mailbox both mailboxes are connected to Exchange. The client can browse the mailbox with no problems but when they preform a search of the shared mailbox Outlook hangs and usually the only fix is to kill the outlook process through task manager. I have found that removing the shared mailbox through advanced options, restarting Outlook and adding the mailbox again allows the search function to work, but only for about 20min. Does anyone have any ideas about this???
