It was never possible to make a browser forget a set of credentials once the
user had supplied them, unless the browser was completely closed. IE6 added
JavaScript functions to clear cached credentials, so OWA will probably make
use of this if it detects that IE is being used. However, for non-IE6
browsers, it will probably not even make the attempt.
The problem with mobile browsers is that they never actually terminate, they
continue to run 'in the background' until the device is reset, or until you
manually terminate the task using a utility created for this purpose.
