Certificate error 80072f0d with ActiveSync Windows mobile 6
Hi there,

I am using a Motorola Moto Q phone, with WM6, to sinchronize to the Exchange
Server (Exchange Server 2007 SP1) using Outlook 2003 on my desktop.
At the moment of synchronizing it marks that there was an error and it marks
the code 80072f02. It seems the problem must be a certificate, or lack of on
the device.

When I installed the certificate on the CAS I installed it in the base 64
format, and exported the certificate to install on the device. However, the
device shows "Cannot access the certificate." Should I have installed the
certificate in exchange in this format, or should I have installed it in the
.der format? Does the desktop computer require to have the certificate
installed too?

Thanks for your help.

You didn't mention what kind of cert you are using now.

Re: Certificate error 80072f0d with ActiveSync Windows mobile 6
Hi Martin,

Thanks for the reply.
I created a certificate with a CA en AD (Windows Server 2003.) The
certificate was in 64 format, generating the request with the Exchange
Management Shell, importing the file with the Certificate Services web page,
and then importing the certificate afterwards.

Thanks :)
