web outlook 2003 locks up with IE 7.0   

When I'm composing a new message, sometimes my web outlook window will
temporarily lock up and I have to wait maybe 10 secs for it to become
responsive again. It just stops accepting keyboard presses for a bit.

Using Firefox this doesn't happen, but then I lose a lot of web
outlook features.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting your IE security settings to see if this has any 
effect?

Yes, I added the exchange server URL as a trusted site. Are there any
logs that web outlook produces that I could inspect to see what it's
doing for these 10 seconds or so?
