My outlook 2003 clients on exchange 2007 are not getting free/busy information ( no free/busy information could be retrived error ). The same users can get free/busy using owa or outlook 2007 . They are not getting the offline address book error when using send/receive. The server does have this error. Error updating public folder with free/busy information on virtual machine EXCHANGE. The error number is 0x8004010f.
I can't tell you exactly why they can't, but I can tell you that Outlook 2003 (and earlier) clients get free/busy data from a system public folder. Can these clients use public folders? -- Ed Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" Thank you for your reply, that was my thought as well but the Public Folders are visable and they are able to post items in outlook 2003 to them. I think it has to do with publishing the free/busy to the folders since it only affects 2003 clients but I can't find any information on how to verfty that process. I've verified that the replication is working to the public folders in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945602 "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: > I can't tell you exactly why they can't, but I can tell you that Outlook > 2003 (and earlier) clients get free/busy data from a system public folder. > Can these clients use public folders? > -- > Ed Crowley > MVP - Exchange > "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" > > "Warren" wrote in message > news:ED56949F-1D32-4A95-A6DD-6CBDF0335672@microsoft.com... > > My outlook 2003 clients on exchange 2007 are not getting free/busy > > information ( no free/busy information could be retrived error ).
