I have one remote user who uses OWA with a MAC running Safari 3.0.4. He can read and send mail without a problem. When he tries to add an attachment to an email, he is prompted for a password. He enters his password but it says the password is incorrect and he can't add the attachments. Obviously he knows his own password or he wouldn't be in OWA at all. We have no Macs in the organization so I have nothing to test with.
OWA is on Exchange Server 2003 SP2. "Doug P" wrote: > I have one remote user who uses OWA with a MAC running Safari 3.0.4. He can > read and send mail without a problem. You might check this out, although I'm not sure it applies: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/251561/en-us -- Ed Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" Have you figured anything out on this yet? I too am having the same problem. It also is only happening for me on Leopard computers. I have one running Tiger with Safari 3.0.4 and it works just fine adding attachments. "Doug P" wrote: > I have one remote user who uses OWA with a MAC running Safari 3.0.4. Nope. Nothing yet. The user who has the problem doesn't live in the same city and I have no Macs to test with. I was hoping to get an answer here but haven't so far. Replicated this problem with the new Safari 3.1 on a XP Pro machine. Also replicated the problem with Safari on a brand new MacBook Pro with Leopard. Don't have a solution yet, but this just might be an encryption or authentication problem on the session. Firefox on the MAC works for OWA
Thanks for the info. At least it looks like it's not OWA. I'll tell the user to try Firefox. "GregM" wrote: > > Replicated this problem with the new Safari 3.1 on a XP Pro machine.
