Can someone tell me why push mail does not work with Exchange and Palm OS? Is there a solution for that? -- Floor

But in general, remember that they're different manufacturers with different products - you might as well ask why activesync doesn't work with Symbian OS phones. > Is there a solution for that? Ideally, get Windows Mobile which can work natively with wireless Activesync for more than just e-mail - calendar/tasks/contacts, plus GAL lookup & remote wipe. Or Blackberry & a Blackberry Enterprise Server. Barring that, if you need to support Palm users, etc.,check out RoadSync from www.dataviz.com - it works very well.
Correct. It does work for a number of TREO models. Im not sure what you have since Palm OS is all encompasing Palm products. http://www.palminfocenter.com/news/9207/direct-push-microsoft-exchange-update-for-palm-os/ "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote in message news:eWlirWdhIHA.4844@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Floor wrote: >> Can someone tell me why push mail does not work with Exchange and >> Palm OS? > > It allegedly does if you use ActiveSync on a Palm Treo 650 (VersaMail). > But in general, remember that they're different manufacturers with > different products - you might as well ask why activesync doesn't work > with Symbian OS phones. > >> Is there a solution for that? > > Ideally, get Windows Mobile which can work natively with wireless > Activesync for more than just e-mail - calendar/tasks/contacts, plus GAL > lookup & remote wipe.
