We have an Exchange 2007 server were all mailboxes reside. Some users have "delegated" calendar permissions at level "Author" to other Exchange 2007 users using Outlook 2007. The delegated user is then accessing the shared calendar using the OWA 2007 website by logging into the managers calendar directly via a URL such as: https://fourthcoffee.com/owa/conferenceroom@fourthcoffee.com/?cmd=contents&f=calendar This process works as expected and reading & creating items works normally. However, when the delegate attempts to "delete" an item that the delegate themselves created the page refreshes showing the "Refreshing View..." text, but the items still exists after refreshes. No matter how many times they try to delete the self created calendar item it remains. The manager must then delete the entry themselves which does work. Why can' the delegate delete their own items they created? When the delegate attempts to delete an item they didn't create an actual error message is displayed stating "You do not have permission to perform this action." which I would expect to see.

I'm also experiencing this same issue....any suggestions? Yeah, I'm still experiencing this issue. Not to be a pain, but it's not much of a managed newsgroup if a MS rep replies with some lame excuse like "ours is not the reason why..." and skipping this post entirely. I must admit I probably won't come back here if this is what keeps happening.
