email messages disappear from inbox after user reading
I have a very strange situation here. I currently running on Windows SBS SP1
with 15 users login to server everyday to send and received their emails
without any problem. Emails are store in the SBS server. No rules, No
filtered defined.
Last Friday 29Feb2008, during a routine Microsoft auto update, I have
accepted installation of Windows Server 2003 SP2 via windows auto updates.
Due to the large file size of the SP2, I have let the auto update to continue
over the weekend. I restarted the server on Sunday night. The next day
(Monday), I am shocked that all existing and new emails from Friday-Monday
has disappeared on each user mailbox after they have login to the SBS server.
We are using Windows XP Pro SP2, MS Office XP Pro SP2 and SBS2003 SP2.
Can anyone help as I am very stress now trying to recover those disappear
emails. ;-)

Just to be sure, check in OWA. And if you see the items there, reset the
built-in view views back to their defaults by starting Outlook once with the
/cleanviews switch. This will also remove any custom views, note.

And since you've got a larger issue, please post this in
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs for the most expert help. W2003 SP2 on
SBS 2003 requires some tweaking.

Ya, I have checked OWA, the missing emails is not inside OWA.
