Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007, Windows XP Password Prompt
Having a newly developed problem with Outlook 2007 only.
Last week our network users started to have problems with Outlook 2007
connected to a new Exchange 2007 server repeatedly asking for a UN/PWD.
Once you enter the info, it will stop. But when you close and reopen the
app the same thing happens.

I have tried almost every resolution possible on the net that I can find.
Change Registry, changed the Protect Folder, rebuilt the account, you name
it I have tried it. Any new suggestions would be helpful. And yes I am
using RPC over HTTP and the settings have all been tested.

Thanks, Les

Les,

As far as I know this is an intended functionality to avoid compromise
of sensitive data. The same thing happens with my remote user on an
Exchange 2003 box, except the username field remains filled in.
Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by "repeatedly asking for a UN/
PWD"?
