Environment: Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003 When I create a new user account and establish an email address, there is a secondary email address that appears. Here is an example: > emailaddress.com@216-107-114-199.wan.networktel.net Along with tis smtp entry, there is the primary smtp address "emailaddress@domain.com" The ip address you see in the example is the static ip of our previous ISP. Why would the exchange server create this secondary smtp entry after creating the user's email address? Thanks, d|ano
Check your Default Recipient Policy on Exchange to insure the old domain or IP has been removed. -- John Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2008 Microsoft Certified Partner "D|an-0" <D|an-0@newsgroup.nospam> wrote in message news:eeOt893ZIHA.4712@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Environment: Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003 > > When I create a new user account and establish an email address, there is > a secondary email address that appears.
