error download address book
Hello,

I have an Exchange server 2007 SP1 with outlook 2003 and 2007 clients ( in
cached mode )
When i download the offline addressbook from my server, the outlook 2007
clients give this error :
Task'my emailaddress' reported error (0x8004010F): The operation failed. An
object cannot be found.
My outook 2003 clients don't have this problem.

Re: error download address book
Then it looks like your problem is there. Stop and start the MSExchangeFDS service.

Re: error download address book
Yes, I saw that one, but we don't have an exchange 2003 server anymore and if
the 2007 outlook clients are not in Cached they work fine. (it also works if
you delete the OAB files in the client and it is in Cached mode until it
downloads the OAB again).

Re: error download address book
Correct, they will as they go directly to the domain controller for the gal.
You need to make sure that the OAB is generating successfully and has been
posted to the public folder store (if you have one) or the web distribution
share.
