Help - Unable To Mount Information Store - Error ID #C1041724   
I am unable to mount the information store on my Exchange Server 2003
STD.  I get Error ID C1041724 and in the event log receive a series of
errors: 9175, 8197 and 1005.  I have tried reinstalling Exchange (I am
running SP2) and have tried repairing Windows Server 2003.  According
to Microsoft Update, all applicable patches have been applied.  Please
help!

With the database offline what happens when you perform 'eseutil /mh'

Does it state the database is in a dirty shutdown state?

Can you also elaborate more on the Event ID messages.

Are you missing any log files?  Have you run out of disk space on the log or 
database drive?
