Server upgrade -- Exchange 2003
Background:

I have a bad hard drive in my server, oh well stuff happens. No way of
recovery. We have decided to upgrade to RAID 5 with new drives. In the
server, we have conneded the new drives (same box) to the system. So by
connecting and disconnecting hard drive sets we can move from the old server
to the new server. There is 1.3 TB of storeage accessable to both servers.
So its copy data files from one to the other.

I have installed SBS2003 R2 and install ISA 2004.
Excnage 2003 is at SP3 and installation was successful. The server
configuration is okay except for the usual ISA issues which I have fixed.

The Problem:

I need to move my exchange data base from the old server (same version of
exchange with SP3) to the new server, i.e. from excnage 2003 SP3 to Exchange
2003 SP3. One complication is that the old server used G as the system drive
and the new server uses C as the system drive, not sure if that matters.

I can't seem to find a utility that will do this, can you help?

Can you just shut down the service and copy the data base?

If so where is it now (in 2000 it was the M drive)?

Thanks for the help,

Dick
