RE: update-AddressList does not seem to be updating...
Hello Scott,
Thank you for your post.
Please allow me to confirm that my understandings are correct. As I
understand it, the issue is:
When you created new users and updated the address list, the following
warning appears after using update-AddressList -Identity '\EandM-WWNC'
"WARNING: The recipient "HAYDON-MILL.com/Microsoft Exchange System
Objects/Company Calendar 86412232" is invalid and could not be updated."
If I have misunderstood your concerns please feel free to let me know.
This issue may be caused by lacking of permission on all the address list
or the related OAB files or SMTP address are corrupted. Here I suggest we
can try the following steps to narrow down and verify this issue.
1. "Update Content" in Exchange server 2007 EMC. Please refer to following
article:
How to Update Public Folders
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998661.aspx
2. Right click the <offline Address Book name> and click "Update" in
Exchange server 2007 EMC.
3. Please wait one or half hour.
4. On any problematic client, delete the *.OBA files under
%systemdriver%\Documents and Settings\user profile\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
5. Please check whether the new user can be appear in OAB or not.
If the issue persists, please let me know if you have also Exchange 2003
server coexisting with the Exchange 2007 server in the organization? If
so, did you find any replication issues between two servers? If any, please
let me know.
If we cannot resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
help me collect some information for further investigation:

1. Check event viewer for related information, please help save it to
*.evt and send to me at v-robmen@microsoft.com .
2. If possible, please capture some screenshot when the error messages

Hope this helps. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not
