I am trying to setup a test environment for Exchange 07 to test for our future rollout. I imaged a DC from the production network and converted it into a virtual image. At the time I did this, we had numerous Exchange servers below the SP2 level. I am now trying to install Exchange 07 in the test environment with the DC that I copied from production and it is telling me that I have a server without SP2 installed. I have used ADSIedit to find the Exchange server and found the serialnumber attribute. I then changed that to SP2, but it is still detecting something as not SP2.

Install an Exchange 2003 Server in the lab and apply SP2 to it?
How would this help? The test environment already thinks there are 10 other Exchange servers without SP2.
