recommmended logging on exchange server 2003
hi all,

I faced a problem with the exchnage log files that stored in event viewer,
that a huge number of logs stored there, however most of these events are not
nesseccery for me.
Question is, what is the most important logs that I have to keep storing in
the event viewer, or who can advice what events I have to exclude from
storing in the event veiwer?

thanks in advance,
MSN

The defaults are all you need unless troubleshooting.
Right click the server in ESM, go to properties/ Diagnostics tab and
see what logging you may have increased levels on.

The defaults are all you need. Really. If you run into an issue, then
you can turn up diagnostics to troubleshoot.
