Re: Mailbox Lag
It looks as though any user with a large mail box size is experiencing this
lag, when large attachments are received the lag is even longer. Most of the
users complaining about this have mail box sizes in excess of 1.5 GB. Some
of my users have mail box sizes around 3 GB.
None of these users are working in Cached Mode.
All users have dynamically assigned IP addresses.

You might want to take a look at this:

This is a really interesting one and I have used it with great success on
users with large mailboxes.

You really should be looking at deploying Outlook 2003 or 2007. Using Cache
Mode helps since the load is off the server and on the client.
