Can messages that are forwarded more than a specified number of times be blocked in Exchange? I'm targeting jokes that are forwarded and forwarded so that the original message is six or seven levels deep. I'd like to be able to prevent the forwarding of any message that has already been forwarded. I know that someone could get around that somehow, but I just don't want it to be too easy.
Nope. You may be able to do something like that with Tumbleweed but even then I wouldn't count on it. "Andrew M. If found quarantining messages that start with "FW: FW" in the subject to be very effective. I was using third party software, but I suppose a transport rule could do the job as well. Brian
