Automatically Permanently Deleting Undeliverable Messages
We are having an issue where our Exchange 2003 Administrator's mailbox is
filling up with Undeliverable messages... probably like several dozen a
MINUTE. I set up a rule to delete them as they come in, but that doesn't
permanently remove them, and I still have to clean out the Deleted Items
folder by hand. There are so many of these currently in the system that
it's taking me way too long to clean them out... like a guy with a bucket
trying to clean up a dam break. I don't want to just Empty Deleted Items
from the menu in OWA, because it puts too much strain on the server.

Any suggestions on how to quickly clean up the mailbox and then keep these
nasties from filling it up again? Thanks!

-Ben

Re: Automatically Permanently Deleting Undeliverable Messages
Never mind on the Undeliverables... I figured out that recipient filtering
was off. I still would like to find an easy way to empty out this mailbox,
if someone has an idea. Thanks!
